Designers such as Prada, Lanvin, Akris and Christian Louboutin have created casual, denim handbags for this spring. Denim is being used on handbags in various ways with alternate fabrications for spring 2011. Designers such as Gucci and Christian Louboutin have trimmed their denim handbags with medium tan leather. Christian Loubouin has also added rocker chic studs to the edges of his denim shoulder bag for spring. Some designers are using denim with canvas and other types of fabrics. There are also denim blue handbags popping up, such as a classic Prada tote, which does not use cotton twill at all; instead the handbag is made from nylon or leather and dying such in indigo blue.
